Michael holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Illustration degree with a minor in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan (SVA). After graduating from SVA in June of 1999, Michael went on to produce freelance work in the New York area. Michael has now been a member of the TEKgroup team in Florida for over 8 years, heading the Art Department for over 6 years.
Michael has worked extensively with design-related programs. These programs include Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, After Effects, Soundbooth, Encore and inDesign. Michael also works in media which includes pencil, pen & ink, water color, gauche, acrylic and oil. Having a strong background in freehand composition, in conjunction with design program knowledge, has enabled Michael to produce award-winning work.
Michael is a current member of the SVA Alumni Society, and has received Training in Action Script Fundamentals from JHL Technologies. He has also attended many Adobe-related educational conferences, seminars and expos in the South Florida area.
