Occasionally you may need to update your PR Contacts page. Maybe someone’s title has changed or you need to add a new individual to your listing. Perhaps someone has started tweeting and would like their Twitter handle or Facebook profile URLs visible. You have total control over all of these changes with the use of the Accounts Tool and the PR Contacts Tool.
You may want to review the Tips post I did re: the Accounts Tool that instructs you how to add a new individual
. From within the Accounts tool, you may update someone’s title, contact information, make them a PR Contact by checking the “PR Contact” checkbox, as well as enter the URL to their Twitter Handle, Facebook, and LinkedIn profile pages as shown here:
Once you have the individual’s contact information in ship shape, the next step is to update the PR Contact page itself. Head over to that tool by clicking on the “PR Contacts” link on your left rail under the “Utilities” red bar. Select the page you would like to edit the PR Contacts for. That’s right; you can have more than one contacts page. Perhaps you have a significant number of contacts and it might make more sense to organize and group them into different pages. On the final screen, select which contacts should appear on this page by moving them from the left side of the double box on over to the right side. Use the up and down arrows to put them into your desired pecking order.
